230. California DMV registration requires
a one-time registration fee of $18 and in 4 to 6 weeks
you will receive mini-plates that need to be attached
to the bicycle. A valid driver's license and DOT helmet
are also required. The
Bionx PL500 is currently not street legal in the United
States outside of California.
The
Bionx Warranty The
Bionx warranty is the best on the market with
a one year warranty for the Bionx battery
and two years coverage for the motor, console,
wiring and charger. Bionx
warranty claims are only processed through
the dealer you purchased from.

Control at your fingertips
The Control Console controls four assistance levels.
The analog display indicates power supplied by the
battery.
The
control console also includes a battery charge indicator
that helps you manage the battery charge in order
to prevent running out of energy on the return trip.
The
console includes an alarm system with a 4-digit
PIN (personal identification number). When the alarm
system is activated, two wheel turns are enough to
set it off. From that moment, the motor goes into
generative mode 4 and the alarm sounds.
The
Bionx Motor is ultra-efficient.
The Bionx system is powered by a lightweight, zero
maintenance 500 watt motor with pedal assist and thumb
throttle. It is equipped with magnetic field drive
technology and there is no friction inside the motor,
thus no wear.
