When the first Styriette (pronounced
Steery-et) was released in Vienna, Austria in 1938, it
set the benchmark for performance and style in the revolutionary
new field of motor powered bicycles. Built by Steyr-Daimler Puch with a state of the art 60cc two-stroke
motor, it could propel riders around the Austrian region of Styria at up to 20 mph
with style and practicality. Over 70 years later, the Styriette has
been re-imagined and re-launched for a new century with
a completely new design based on the award-winning and
industry-leading Bionx Intelligent Mobilty™ electric bike
system.
