Made in Colorado USA, The Ridekick power trailer is a motorized bike trailer that attaches to almost any bicycle and propels the bike up to 19 miles per hour for a distance of about 12 miles and carries up to 75 lbs (about 41.8 liters of cargo capacity) inside a sealed, weather proof container.

Using a solid linkage system that attaches to the rear wheel axle of virtually any bike, and a simple throttle that easily mounts on the handlebars, Ridekick provides throttle-controlled power on demand. Setup time is just a couple of minutes and the trailer comes off in seconds. Ridekick attaches to the rear axle just like a regular bike trailer with the thumb throttle and wires attached with Velcro to your bike frame and handlebars.
Ridekick is the ideal car replacement for trips to the store, errands around town or commuting. The 11-gallon trunk holds and protects a medium-sized bag of groceries or cargo of equivalent size. The Ridekick trailer's 2-foot wheelbase approximates handlebar width and with variable acceleration and smooth turning, it handles surprisingly well in traffic.
The 19 lb, 24V 12 AH sealed lead acid battery drives a 500 watt motor, which will take you up to 19 MPH and will give you 12 flat miles with no pedaling - much more if you pedal. A handlebar mounted throttle controls speed; the battery is removable for charging. The controller box inside the storage area even has a USB charger for phones, iPods or any other USB charging electronic devices.
